What's New at PlymouthFD.com:
The new
addition to the Fire Dept. has been completed with the exception of some
minor details. Thank you goes out to City Council and all who
supported the decision to expand the Fire and Police Depts. The
additional room was greatly needed.
Current Events:
On February 13th, join Plymouth Fire at the "Hot Time in
the Old Town" festival in downtown Plymouth starting at 5:00pm. We
will be manning "burn barrels" all along E. Mill St. Stop by and
say 'hi' and roast a hot dog or make Smore's over the open fire.
We will be running a "Fill the Boot" campaign to raise money for our
Thermal Imaging Cameras.
On Sunday, February 22nd, we will be hosting an Open
House of our newly remodeled City Fire Station. The public is
welcome to stop in and see the new changes. The hours of the Open
House are 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Hope to see you there!
With Winter 2008 keeping pace with Winter
'07 in the snowfall category, we remind you to "Adopt a Fire Hydrant"
near your house. By shoveling out at least 3 feet around the
hydrant, it will make locating and using the hydrant alot quicker in the
event your or your neighbor's home catches on fire.
